SATs are OVER YAAAAAY!

May
17

Well-done to YEAR 6! You did SO amazingly well :)

I must say that this was the most calmest year 6 I have met during SATs week!

Words can not even express how proud I am of all of you!

Mrs. Murray and I have been planning loads of mature and exciting projects and experiences for you – the rest of the year is going to be a flurry of activity, fun, getting ready for high school and enjoying each other’s company before we each move on.

I am going to miss you all SO MUCH! (Sniff, snuffle, sob!) However, I am comforted to know that I will keep hearing about you all in the future – doing amazing things!

Big love and ’nuff respect!

3 Weeks Until SATs!

April
16

Only 3 weeks until SATs and we are going to do amazingly-awesomely-well!

Please make sure you have your revision book in school EVERY day so that you can make notes in it to help you study and do your homework. At the end of 3 weeks, your revision book will be your very own book on “How to Survive SATS”. In fact, I bet you could sell it and make millions!!

Stay focused, ask for help and remember: YOU WILL BE AWESOME!

Opinions please!

February

So, we are experimenting with using the blog to do some homework, revision and practise safe cyber-communication.

You have told me that you prefer to have the homework up here rather than handouts (you said they could get lost or missed if absent) and we agreed to try it this week.

What do you think? What is working? What isn’t?

Can “iHomework” replace paper homework? Does the quality of your learning improve? Stay the same? Decrease in some instances?

E6 – this is your ICT investigation! What are your conclusions?

I am missing you!

Hi E6 it’s Miss Elliott. As you know, I am at Alston Hall doing loads of training for our art/drama project. So far, I have been a dishonest priest, a friend of Anne Boleyn (Mrs. Murray played her) and a dancer at the King’s palace. You will get to play all these parts – and more! – in drama class! Furthermore, I am writing in my sketch book a lot and I do hope I remember everything! Ok, I have to run now because it’s time for ART! YAY!

I hope you’re having a good time at school.
Lots of love,
Miss Elliott

PS. Thanks for commenting on the blog – it looks more alive now! Soon I will post some photos of our poppets, effegies and kitchen witches, but first here’s some information about Anne Boleyn. See you Monday! <3
